What have they got to do with albums?
Well, you could just slide an appropriate album in place and change the music on the iPod hidden in the frame; but I like to make a feature out of the frame and add some suitable props.

Ah well, each to their own taste!

Not exactly the Great Wall of China...

But I designed this for the Chinese New Year in 2006.

Built into the Wall is a 12 watt stereo system with a 4GB iPod nano with tunes such as "Tune for Chinese Opera" by Xiao-Peng Jiang & The Chinese Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory on the album "Splendid Jubilant New Year"

Mounted on the Wall is a "three-inch lotus shoe" made recently by Mr. Yeo of Malacca and a fan. If you don't know what a "three-inch lotus shoe" is check out Google, it's far too gruesome to go into here. Fascinating, but gruesome - I think.

Burns' night 2006.

A bit of fun for Burns night, the black canvas-covered frame contains a 3 watt stereo system and an iPod Shuffle and some great music from the Black Watch and also Andy Stewart...

Just the stuff to get you in the mood for Haggis and a wee dram.

...so if you've ever wondered what a Scotsman wears under his kilt, here's your answer...

Thanksgiving 2005...and another excuse for a party

The black canvas-covered frame contains a 3 watt stereo system and an iPod Shuffle, with such rousing tunes as "God bless America", "Yankee Doodle Dandy" and Elvis' splendid "An American Trilogy" to give us an appetite for the turkey.

The "album sleeve" shows some of the history of the American Flag; from the British Red Ensign (1707 - 1801) through the Chester County PA militia flag which was supposedly used at the "Battle of Brandywine" on September 11th, 1777 and the Great Star Flag of 23 Stars (1820 - 1822) and finally the 50 Star Flag in use since 1960.
